Kimberly P. Thomas

Kim Joined our firm in 2015 after practicing at her solo practice in Raleigh for over 22 years. Kim received her Juris Doctorate from Wake Forest University and undergraduate degrees from both the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and Peace University. She is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts of North Carolina and is a member of the NCBA as well as Wake County Bar Association. Prior to joining the firm, Kim’s practice was focused on real estate, bankruptcy, family law along with a will and estate practice. She continues in most of those areas today including a great deal of work in the development phase of new knowledge into the corporate world where she represents multi-million-dollar companies as well as small family run businesses.

Prior to going to law school, Kim worked as a paralegal for Sanford, Adams, McCullough and Beard (now known as Parker Poe) under the expert tutelage of former past President of the NC Bar Association Catherine Arrowood whom Kim learned much from on how to be a successful and long-lasting attorney as evidenced by her 35-year career.

Although Kim grew up in Raleigh as a North Carolina native and went to Sanderson High School, she lives in Youngsville and has for over thirty years where she raised three beautiful daughters, Taylor, Tori and Kacee. She now enjoys spending time with her new and wonderful grandson, Kannon. When not working, Kim enjoys watching all sporting events, especially UNC and the Hurricanes and loves playing golf.
